Mayfield Records House Band (feat. Tom Wells): Merry-Go-Round

EP | SINGLE | ALBUM | Genre: Sublime Pop

Last year, the Mayfield Records’ House Band was a finalist in the ‘Songs of War’ competition in aid of War Child UK.

Inspired by the Mark Gertler painting of the same name, ‘Merry-Go-Round’ will be getting its official release on Friday 7th June.

This week, world leaders gathered in Portsmouth to commemorate 75 years since the D-Day landings. The countries being represented have agreed to make a joint statement pledging to ensure the “unimaginable horror” of War is not repeated.

“Endlessly spinning, a race to recover lost ground, it goes on every year …
Nobody’s winning, so let’s shut this carousel down, NOW”
