Ben Lester – California Shake

EP | SINGLE | ALBUM | Genre: Sublime Pop

Ben’s first release of 2020 on Mayfield Records, ‘California Shake’ was originally recorded in 1968 by Margo Guryan. Ben’s version has a more contemporary feel but maintains the sinister edge, as he describes the ongoing manifestation of a catastrophic earthquake.

Ben has further releases in the pipeline for this year, all with his characteristic attention to melody and exquisite production.

This is sublime-pop at its very best.
